The arrival of OfficePax 2.1 from eTouchWare offers the small business market a powerful application suite that has all the “bells and whistles” and none of the cumbersome issues of other tools on the Market. OfficePax with its 3rd generation technology is—simply put--feature rich, able to run on any platform, and a relative breeze to install. “We’re targeting the small business market for now simply because there is so much need…these small businesses are using antiquated, ineffective software that just doesn’t do the job,” says Simon Grunfeld, eTouchware’s vice president. “We’ve created a platform that provides small businesses with all the tools needed to compete, grow and adjust to the demands of the marketplace and best of all--this suite is priced right and easy to setup and use.”
Shared Calendars
Each user on the network receives a personal calendar with an option to share it with other users on the network or just with specific coworkers. Here’s how it works: Each time an appointment is made or revised, in real time, each person connected to that appointment is notified automatically. Additionally, with preset permission, users may update each others’ calendars.
Shared Contacts
Individuals on the OfficePax network, with permission, are also able to share any number of contacts with one another and also list who is able to view or edit those contacts. Other cool features include a robust CRM system that records all interactions with that particular contact. So, keeping track of phone calls, email, quotes, purchase orders is simplified and the Personal Documents tab keeps documents related that contact quickly accessible. Invoice tracking is provided by the Invoicing Tab, which accurately monitors invoices, payment history and balances and the 99Sent tab offers our unmatched File Transfer Solution.
Shared Email
The OfficePax email function is a complete email client on par with any on the market today, only better. Our email module provides an easy to use internal CC and BCC—so users can send email messages to onsite colleagues without the actual message leaving the office. There is also a silent “confirm read” feature that provides a receipt to the sender without asking the receiver to send a confirmation. The confirmation is entered automatically. And by reconfiguring our rules, you may forward/copy an email to a specific folder of another user on the network or refuse/delete the message from the server. The ability to share selected email folders with other users and stipulate who may read or write to that folder is another OfficePax handy feature.
Limitless File Transfers
Our file transfer technology breaks down into two categories: Inter-network and Outer-network. Using the Inter-network file transfer allows OfficePax users to send any file of any size to anyone in the network. To send a file point-to-point, users can opt for the Instant Messaging (IM) function provided by OfficePax or they may drop the file into a shared folder, another popular feature of ours. The Outer-network file transfer relies on one of two types: Unidirectional and Bidirectional file transfer. If, let’s say, the file is large (2GB-20GB), the users may choose Tirminal (patent pending). Tirminal works by sending a link by email to an individual (receiver). The receiver then downloads the file directly from the sender’s computer. No third party is involved. But, if the OfficePax user and his contacts are in the bidirectional mode, 99 Sent, our secure high speed file transfer product, may be used to securely and quickly send files back and forth, without exposing the network to unnecessary external dangers. Essentially OfficePax does away with all worry about transferring any sized files.
Time Sheets
A built in time sheet application comes with OfficePax. This simple tool allows everyone to track their work hours, view reports, and workflow. The data can then be exported in PDF, Excel, Word, or plain text—most format really.
Remote Access and Shared Folders
OfficePax also makes connectivity with the central office easy as pie since remote access to all data is built-in. The shared folders store both data and documents that are accessed by users remotely.
Instant and Post Messaging
Our Instant Messenger is utterly secure from external threats and allows for Inter-network communication and file transfer of files of any size. The post messaging feature allows for messaging among users and provides a perfect way to track tasks and to follow up on messages and procedures.
